Performance Highlights • State’s CD Ratio at 114.57% is one of the highest in the Country • The outstanding under Agriculture Credit crossed Rs. 76,600 Cr. which is one of the highest in the Country • The growth in Agricultural Advances during the current year upto September is 11.56% SLBC of Andhra Pradesh Andhra Bank

Performance Highlights – SHG –Bank Linkage • Self Help Group lending is one of the important lending portfolios of Banks in the State. • State is Leading in the Country in Number of SHGs, Quantum of Lending and Per group lending both in respect of Rural and Urban SHGs • The outstanding credit to SHGs stood at Rs. 13,145 crores • The CMSA (Community Managed Sustainable Agriculture) program is proposed to be implemented through SHGs in the State during the current year (outlay Rs .4,078 Cr) SLBC of Andhra Pradesh Andhra Bank

Performance Highlights • All the districts in the State are having RSETIs • Efforts are on to establish FLCCs in all the districts in coordination between the Lead Banks and other major Banks • During the year upto now 14 Steering Committee meetings, two SLBC meetings, two Export Sub Committee meetings, one SLIIC meeting and one LDM’s Conference, one Special Meeting and three Meetings of Core Committee on SHG-Bank Linkage programme are conducted by SLBC • Excellent coordination is prevailing among the Banks, Government and other Agencies SLBC of Andhra Pradesh Andhra Bank

Damage due to Floods/ Heavy rains • State has been affected by Floods/ Heavy rains during October, November and December, 2010 • GoAP released GO Ms No. 17 dated 14.12.2010 and GO Ms No. 20 dated 22.12.2010 declaring 607 mandals in 16 districts as affected • 14th Meeting of Steering Committee of SLBC held on 20.12.2010 for the specific purpose of extending relief measures to farmers • Banks were advised to undertake Relief Measures immediately SLBC of Andhra Pradesh Andhra Bank

Relief Measures • All Crop loans/Kisan Credit Card Loans disbursed in Kharif 2010 and Rabi 2010-11(up to the date of occurrence of Floods/heavy rains) in the notified Mandals are eligible for conversion to CCTLs (Crop loans converted to Term loans). Further finance be extended where ever crops are being raised. • All the Controlling Authorities of Banks are advised to submit fortnightly progress report to SLBC. • Banks were advised that the first report is to be sent as on 15.01.2011 by 18.01.2011 and within three days after the closure of each fortnight thereafter up to March, 2011.
