How do I know what to do, where to do it, and when to apply it?
Right Pavement Right Treatment Right Time "The right treatment at the wrong time is still the wrong treatment!"
How do I know how much money it will take to keep my network at an acceptable level of service?
M & R Plans • Run M&R plans to illustrate current and future pavement conditions at various levels of spending. "What If" Scenarios...
What If Scenarios • What if I want to maintain my current condition? • What if I want to achieve a better overall condition? • How many years will it take to get there? • What if I spend more money now? • What if I spend more later? • What roads should I spend the money on?
Once I know how much money our agency needs, will the “powers that be” agree? With a Pavement Management System, you have backup for your actions!
