National Awards for Energy Conservation – 2003 – Certificate of Merit in Cement Sector by Ministry of power, Govt. of India. National Award for Energy Conservation – 2004- 2nd prize in Cement Sector by Ministry of power, Govt. of India. First Company in India to achieve ISO 14001: 2004 certification in January 2005. … Improvements & Savings in DGPP PLANT OPERATIONS ENTIRELY DEPENDENT ON CAPTIVE DG POWER GENERATION . • GEB POWER IS NOT USED SINCE JAN. 2000 • MAXIMUM DEMAND OF GEB REDUCED FROM 23 MVA TO 2.5 MVA, BEING REDUCED TO ‘0’ INSTALLED AIR COOLED RADIATORS IN PLACE OF WATER COOLING TOWERS BECAUSE OF WATER SHORTAGE HAVE RECORDED THE HIGHEST YIELD AMONG AVB GROUP’S DG INSTALLATIONS .
