A frame of psychotherapy from the point of view of human ecology Psychotherapy generically as psychotherapeutic activity, not connecting with different existent addresses
Ecological theory: • A map that can be used to approach and to read any kind of reality; • A vision of man and world
Ecological approach Integration, within theoretical frame of the ecology of human development (originally outlined by Urie Bronfenbrenner), of contributes of many disciplines:
Behavioural genetic • Evolutionism • Infant research • Dynamic system theory • Developmental psychopathology • Bio-psycho-social model
Human being: a dynamic system, active in the relationship with the surrounding environment Ecological environment: a dynamic and multidimensional system that operates within time and space. It can be schematically represented as a hierarchy of structures, visible as concentric circles, interconnected each-other (as originally proposed by Bronfenbrenner)
Levels of ecological environment : • Microsystem • Mesosystem • Esosystem • Macrosystema
Man and environment constantly act and interact regulating and modifying each-other
An ecological reading of psycotherapy • It can be placed at microsystemic level • It has an high degree of complexity • It provides stable and defined roles • It favours role-transiction • It has an its own microsystemic code
For a good therapeutical relationship: 1. To build a primary diade
2. The quality of relationship AFFECTIVE AFFECTIVE POWER SIGN INTENSITTY RECIPROCITY EMOTIONAL POWER ATTACCHMENT BALANCE + + + - - - ANTAGONISM/ INDIFFERENCE LACK OF OSTILITY POWER BALANCE
3. To function as a support link (not taking directly part in environmental situations uotside microsystem)
