  3. Start of the project • Start date: • Signature of the contract OR • Advance payment received OR • Any other exact date • The costs are eligible only after signature of the contract

  4. Advance payment - 80 % Balance - Final report approved Tacis Payments < 12 months OR < 100,000 euro > 12 months AND > 100,000 euro • Advance payment - 80 % of 1st year • Interim payment (70 % of AP spent) • Balance - Final report approved - Not more then 90 % of EC contribution

  5. Co-financing in Tacis < 50,000 50,000 – 300,000 >300,000 min. 5 % min. 10 % min. 25 %

  6. Co-financing in Tacis • NO contribution in-kind • Fees: civil servant employed by administration • Travel expenses • Equipment • Office rental • Administrative costs

  7. Eligible costs • Staff assigned to the action %(clear indication of positions in CVs) • Travel costs • Purchase of equipment %(new or used) • Subcontracting % expenditures • Other costs: dissemination, evaluation, audit *, translation, etc. • With Final Report if Tacis part > 100,000 or • With Application if Tacis part > 300,000

  8. Non-eligible costs • Debts and provisions for losses of debts • Interest owed • Items financed in another framework • Purchases of lands or buildings • Currency exchanges losses • Taxes, including VAT
