Creating an Image • You want your card to stand out, and be remembered. • DO NOT OVERCROWD • A business card is small and a lot of information needs to go on there. Pick and choose the most important parts and put that on the card • Make the important parts of the card stand out more
Creating an image • Consistency • The look of the business card should be consistent with your logo and your slogan. You want it to all mesh together. • Font • You want this to be clean and easy to read. Try not to use too many fonts • Balance • Make the card balanced. You don’t want to have all the information on one side, with nothing on the other side.
What is a letterhead and why have it? • A letterhead is the heading that is printed at the top of the documents that you create for your business. • It generally has the following: • Company Name, Logo, Slogan • Address • Website address • Telephone number.

How to create a letterhead • You will be creating your letterhead in a word document. • It is generally 2- 2 ½ inches at the top of your paper. • Some letter heads also include a footer. • REMEMBER CONSISTENCY IS KEY • You want your logo, your business card, your slogan, and your letter head to all convey the same feeling of your company.
