  16. The OATN has been developed through: • Public-private partnerships • US Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, and Representative John McHugh ($3.0 million) • New York State ($6.25 million) • M&T Bank ($9.4 million)

What is the OATN? • 760 miles of fiber optic cable throughout Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties, including connection to Syracuse, plus electronic and optical transmission equipment • Central Offices are located in communities with good opportunities to expand competitive commercial service offerings
