  2. Hamper Baskets Are Great For Food Transport The British have given the name hamper basket to wicker basket. This generally indicates a large bin that is capable of holding many items, especially food. People use it to carry food during a trip, camping, outing or picnic. But in America, it refers to the laundry bin where we store used clothing. Apart from that, they are used in several other ways worldwide. In the countryside, these are popular among the farmers during the harvesting seasons. They carry them on their back and collect fresh fruits or vegetables in it directly from the farms. They carry them to the large containers, transfer the contents there and again take it with them to the farm. The main purpose here is transportation.
