ACLS / BCLS NSTRUCTOR • We offer Healthcare provider courses as outlined by the American Heart Association. • We teach Adult Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support classes. • We teach heart saver, refresher, provider, Basic EKG, CPR, etc.
DIALYSIS • Our Nurses assist in the placement of temporary vascular access (catheters and shunts) for hemodialysis procedures; • Our Nurses perform acute and chronic hemodialysis procedures; • Our Nurses perform peritoneal dialysis procedures; and • Our Nurses perform continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT);
Enterostomal Therapist • A professional nurse with an expertise in wound, ostomy and continence care. • They utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care for people with fecal and urinary diversions, wounds, drains, pressure sores and incontinence. • This includes acute care, rehabilitation, patient teaching and counseling. • The Enterostomal Therapist works with the patient's physician and confers with them on a regular basis. • Minimum requirements for a Enterostomal Therapist are: RN/BSN, licensed to practice in the State of California • Graduate of an accredited enterostomal therapy school • Minimum of one year experience in medical and/or surgical nursing utilizing enterostomal therapy
PICC LINE INSERTION • Registered Nurse Vascular Access Specialists have taken on the challenge and responsibility of placing a majority, if not all of the PICC's, even in the most difficult cases. • PICCs can be placed at the patient's bedside, and are fast becoming a simple, quick, reliable way to provide patients (and the nurses caring for them) with venous access in the acute care setting.
WOUND CARE MANAGEMENT • Our nurses can provide specialized care in: • the treatment of wounds, • Ostomy care, • Continence care, • Conservative sharp wound debridement and • Care of the diabetic foot. • Phone consultation available • Home evaluation and assessment visit • Individualized treatment plan recommendation
