Optical Link Budget Verification and Transceiver Layout: Accomplishments & Goals

Our progress includes verifying the optical link budget and schematic, contacting vendors, and initial transceiver layout. Orders are being finalized for Gigabit Ethernet components from Honeywell, OSI, and Optoway. Sample Optek VCSELs and PDs have been sent for testing.
