Inquiry #4 Purpose Two New Sources closely related to your new revised thesis Fill in the gaps – so that you can write a Research Paper
Inquiry #4 Requirements At least two (you may want more) complex questions and answers (linked very closely to your thesis) Close to two pages single-spaced A preliminary outline based on your research to date Two new sources (closely related to your thesis and your outline) Not repeating same material in your first three Inquiries All formatting, citation, work-cited information from first three inquiries applies.
Inquiry #4 Thesis You will be graded very heavily on your revised thesis – unless you got a checkmark saying perfect “as is,” make sure that you have revised it – a trip to see Ms. Rice or Mr. Scotese makes a lot of sense (even if you saw her or me before you may still have been asked to revise your thesis). Revise it BEFORE you do Inquiry #4 as a big part of your grade for this inquiry will be based on how closely your inquiry questions and answers are aligned to this thesis.
Two New Sources aligned to your thesis Example 1 Thesis: The longbow and its archer were the cause of Britian's rise and fall during the Hundred Year's War.

Create and Outline of what you have and look for gaps (BEFORE you get your sources) Thesis: The longbow and its archer were the cause of Britain's rise and fall during the Hundred Year's War.
Create and Outline of what you have and look for gaps (BEFORE you get your sources) Outline Going through my first three inquiries I construct this outline: Introduction The Defeat of France at the hand of the archers A. Archers attack B. Credit given The Hundred Years War a brief intro A. How it started B. Stalemate IV. Successful use of the long bow in the Hundred Years War V. Conclusion How was the long bow created to begin with? I have no research on this at all.
