Overview What is it? Business Services Accessing Information Customer Support/Resources
A Look Back… The Business Customer Gateway (BCG) was established to: • Define a set of business or management tools • Allow business customers to manage their own profile data • Allow business customers to manage access by their own users to data within Postal Service applications • Create a single, unified landing point for customers • Standardize the tools used by Postal Service help desks
Access from • http://www.usps.com • Interface to all USPS Business Services • Gateway is available for ALL business customers – large or small • Centralized access to services under the IMb™ Full-Service and Basic options

Manage Mailing Activity: comprised of PostalOne! functionality supporting electronic submission of mailings and provides mailing activity information Sub Services: Summary Balance & Fees Postal Wizard Electronic Date Exchange Mailing Reports A Business Service is functionality in a USPS application
Users may access postage statement details under Transaction Type Transactions Report Report displays all transactions for permits that are linked to the locations in the User’s profile for the Manage or Audit Mailing Activity Service
Balance & Fees • Provides permit owners the balance and fees due for accounts
Postal Wizard • Manage mailing activity service • By/For identification via permit • May submit as permit owner or as agent
Electronic Data Exchange Manage Mailing Activity service Provides tools for submitting data to PostalOne! Portal to the Testing Environment for Mailers (TEM)
Mailing Reports Access transaction information including Full Service Reports through the Mailing Reports link
Dashboard Mail Agent/Mail Preparer
2. Schedule a Mailing Appointment (FAST) Through the Facility Access and Shipment Tracking (FAST) system, mailers schedule appointments for the entry of their mailings
3. Customer/Supplier Agreements (CSAs) CSAs define mail preparation and entry requirements for mail that is entered at the origin facility
8. Mailer ID (MID) 6-digit or a 9-digit numeric identifier Required in all Intelligent Mail barcodes Used to identify Mail Owners and/or Mailing Agents and tohelp determine the recipient(s) of information regarding the mailing 17
Business Service Administrator (BSA) • Key contact for a Business Location for the management of the selected Service • Approves and deactivates all user requests for that Service at a business location • Establishes the business locations (CRIDs) where permits and Mailer IDs will be linked
Customer Registration ID (CRID) Unique identifier created by the USPS to identify a company at a business location address Connects a business location’s information across all USPS applications Associates every Permit Number and Mailer ID (MID) issued (there may be multiple Permit Numbers or MIDs associated to a single CRID)
