Job Description/Day in the life First and most important is : Passion for the music itself, then comes hard word, dedication, connections, friendships, networking, constantly learning and staying up with the latest trends.
Gather and organize info about concepts to be improved and problems to be solved Conduct observations at other local events and ask people questions about what they liked best, as well as what they think could have been improved Analyze all the different methods of promotion and online presence then try to change/approve anything that needs attention Conduct research on the latest trends in the hip-hop and what is most popular locally as well as worldwide Suggest new Ideas to other members on the label and continue to support and motivate everyone
To start the day I will: Look over goals and tasks to be completed Record new tracks and mixing Practice my live set for upcoming shows Work on completing new albums (Including cover design and track order) Keeping up to date with all the members on the label, and make sure everyone is motivated and happy OCEAN FRESH PRODUCTIONS

Coming up with a business plan, where I would like to be in 2 years time. The one thing that is just as important as the music itself in becoming successful is the business side to everything. Figure out your finances Find yourself a lawyer Learn how to market yourself Research other artists who are successful Public relations: newspaper, magazine reporters, music reviewers, etc.. Arrange interviews with newspapers and radio stations
