  2. What is a habitat? A habitat is a place a person, animal or living thing lives and can call their home. Also the natural home or environment of an animal, plant, or other organism.

  3. What is an adaptation? The action or process of adapting or being adapted. It is also a way of getting use to something so it is natural e.g. a snow leaped because it’s fur has been adapted to the surroundings so that it can catch its food and also hide from poachers.

  4. Organisms • Organisms have adapted to live in different habitats because this generally indicates this animal has a structure or behaviour that allows it do something uniquely suited to the environment.

  5. What is conservation • Conservation is a way of protecting an animal that needs to be saved eg tiger for it’s fur.
