My words were: IUPAC (and you) would have been very, verypleasedwith the Croatian event.The organisation was very good, financial support appeared from, and the commitment of the participantteachers was quite unbelievable. I was shocked to hear many teachers say that they had never been to aconference of any kind previously. They were hungry for ideas…"
