Mission Goal measure pressure and relative humidity within the troposphere and lower stratosphere as a function of temperature, and to characterize and attain a better understanding of our atmosphere by reproducing data obtained from previous launches and NOAA’s experiments.
Science Objectives • Determine relationship between relative humidity, temperature and pressure within the troposphere, tropopause and stratosphere as a function of altitude • Compare data obtained with NOAA
Technical Objectives • Payload shall be constructed to survive extreme conditions of the upper atmosphere. • Payload should recover measurements of relative humidity, temperature, and pressure within the atmosphere. • To recover data, payload should be able to withstand ascent and landing.
Management: Milestones • Preliminary Design Review • Critical Design Review • Flight Readiness Review • Balloon Launch • Science Presentation
