Oct. 15, 2010 Clear your desk of everything but a sheet of paper and something to write with. Head your paper correctly. Name, date, period, and assignment ( Chapter 1 sections 1 and 2 Quiz). You will have 20 minutes to take Quiz. If you finish before time is up, work in the Journey Across Time textbook and answer questions 1-6 on page 15 and 1-5 on page 23. No talking or you will suffer the consequences.
Oct. 18, 2010 • Read What was Life like in Sumer? On page 20 and answer this question- How did the Sumerians divide their social classes? Give one examples for each class. • Into three social classes- upper ( kings, priests, and government officials), middle ( artisans, merchants, farmers, and fishers) and lower (enslaved people who worked on farms or in temples).

If you finish before time is up, place test on the floor and do Guided Reading Activity 2-1. Use pages 38-46 in the Journey Across Time Textbook. No talking or you will suffer the consequences.
