Food Service Management - RFP • School Districts that contract for Food Service operations are required to request proposals at least every three years. • The RFP process follows strict guidelines established by the MDE Food and Nutrition Department and USDA • Proposals were due Monday, May 2, 2011. This followed a mandatory pre-proposal conference that was held on April 11, 2011

Food Service Management - RFP • Evaluation Committee: • Linda Laurie, Board Member • Dr. Mike Funk, Superintendent • Lori Volz, Director of Finance & Operations • Mary Nelson, Director of Food Service (Mary’s role was to organize the data and provide input) • The scoring consists of points for their financial price per meal as well as non price criteria.
