  21. TEACHER AS CHANGE AGENT When change is possible, teachers are the change agents. What push teachers to become change agents are issues such as a) care and competence, b) equity and excellence, and c) social and economic developments. The skills that the teachers of moral purpose should possess in order to become a more effective change agent are the followings: inquiry, habits of ‘questioning, experimentation, reflective practice, personal journals, action research, working in innovative mentoring and peer settings.
