Assembly of the butterfly valve • Valve has been designed for pure liquid • => The pipeline should be clean and flushed! During the flushing, the valve opening should be about 5 degree. Pressure shocks should be avoided. Pipeline maximum test pressure: 38bar (the valve is opened) 27,5 bar (the valve is closed) Blind flange should be always welded after the valve if the pipeline ends and it should fulfill with air removed water. And make sure there is no oxycen in water!
Welding Extension pipes are recommended for trouble free installation And PLEASE read the Manual! Bypass valve is recommended to protect the pipeline against pressure shocks – the valve itself does not need that.
