Questions to be tackled Despite the wider recognition of the principles of interest group involvement, there is a lack of uniform principles applicable to involvement processes by different institutions. However, no institution can overlook the involvement of nonprofit organizations as they are instruments in the democratic society for representing different values and interests. What are the learning points and challenges in the involvement process? Should they be uniform? What practices do different countries use? How to make public policy?
