Brilliant! You’re coming to RSPB Dungeness nature reserve!
Dungeness is famous for its pebbles and its wildlife. There is a lot of wildlife living on and between the pebbles just waiting to be discovered.
My name is Heather. I am the Lifelong Learning Officer at Dungeness. I am at the reserve most days. All the education team wear red shirts so we are easy to spot!
These are some of the people who work in the Visitor and Education centre. They will welcome you to the reserve, answer your questions and help you in the shop.
This is the Visitor and education centre. You get to it by a long track across the shingle
This is our classroom…we have amazing views of the reserve from our windows.
Here at Dungeness we work in groups with the field teachers. We stick together to help each other and keep ourselves safe.
We do activities all over the reserve. We go pond dipping at the pond…
You will need to wear comfortable clothes, old trainers. You might need to bring a sun hat or a waterproof coat depending on the weather.
We are all looking forward to meeting you when you come to RSPB Dungeness. See you soon!
