  2. 2. Humble use of the MEANS of GRACE These ‘instruments’ include (v2): • The WORD • PRAYER • The CHURCH (Gathered Worship) (Hebrews 13:15) • Other means can include AFFLICTION and even spiritual DESERTION (Hosea 2:6-7, Hosea 5:15) 3. Reaffirm our FAITH and DEPENDENCE in Him (v3)
