(Homosexuality... “Alternate Lifestyle” - Abortion... “Woman’s Choice”) Political Correctness has caused us to weaken the severity of so many things. • One thing we cannot dull down is the severity of being LOST. It is terrifying! (... Milk-Carton Kids...) • LUKE 15 is Christ’s discussion of the severity of SPIRITUAL LOSTNESS

Lost & Found • Luke 15:3-7 “The Lost Sheep” CARELESSNESS • The sheep just “wanders off” through carelessness. • The sheep knows he is lost, but doesn’t know the way back! • Some people are exactly the same way! They wander through a life of sin only to realize one day that they are lost. PROV. 14:12

  5. Lost & Found • Luke 15:8-10 “The Lost Coin” USELESSNESS • This coin is now “out of circulation.” This is what Satan wants, to render us USELESS. Revelation 3:15-16

  7. Lost & Found • Luke 15:11-24 “The Lost Son” WILLFULNESS • The lure to sin, even to those who know better, can be very strong. Satan deceives with promises and seductive lies. • Yet, in the end, all the promises are empty, and sin ALWAYS BITES BACK!

Sometimes, a heart can become so jaded, that it WILL NOT soften. Hebrews 6:4-6

  10. Lost & Found • Notice that there is someone SEARCHING in every story, yearning that the lost one be found- A Shepherd... A Woman... A FATHER!!! • He does not soften the severity of lostness... He came to FIND THAT WHICH IS LOST!
