  4. WHAT KIND OF FAITH? • Galatian 5:5-6; 1Corinth.2:2-5 • Circumcision faith/uncircumcision faith/Love-based faith. • Faith based on human wisdom/Faith based on the power of God

  5. THE ICEBERGE METAPHOR (Images) • Romans 7:14-15; Deut.8:3, 16-18 • Why do I plan to go for witnessing and I end up not going but sitting and playing with my phone? • Why?????????

  6. The metaphor of an iceberg can be used to illustrate the concept of the unconscious mind of which more than 4/5th is beneath the water. • The unconscious part of our mind serves as the reservoir of our feelings, thoughts, urges, memories, etc, that are outside of our conscious awareness,

  7. - most of which are repressed, but make them known through: • Our dreams • Trials/Temptations • Direct revelations • Provocations • Probing questions/interrogations • Slips of tongue (Freudian slips)

  8. Strong holds do not reside in the conscious mind. They dwell in the sub-conscious mind.

  9. FAITH IMPEDANCE Impedance as an electrical term is used to describe the opposition to the flow of an alternating current in a circuit when a voltage is applied.
