  4. SOP RECORD • A DOCUMENT THAT CONFIRMS EVERY STEP OF THE PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED ACCORDING TO THE ESTABLISHED SOP • A TECHNICIAN SIGNS & DATES EACH STEP OF THE PROCEDURE TO VERIFY ITS COMPLETION

  5. THE BASIC SOPGUIDELINES ARE: • FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS COMPLETELY • OBSERVE ALL SAFETY GUIDELINES • ENDEAVOR TO BE A PROFESSIONAL • USE INSTRUMENTS CORRECTLY • RECORD ACCURATE DETAILS OF YOUR WORK IN YOUR SCIENTIFIC NOTEBOOK
