What is accounting? • Accounting is an information science used to collect, classify, and manipulate financial data for organizations and individuals.
Why I'm interested • I am interested in accounting because if you do what it takes to become An accountant you can be very successful in life. I would like to become a CPA (certified public accountant) that deals with financial statements and who deal with money that come in and out of the business you are working for.
School • The degree you will need to work for to become an accountant is either a bachelors or masters degree which usually takes four years to five years if you go with the full coarse. But really and degree program is open to accounting.
Money • Accountants earned average salaries of $65,840 a year. The lowest-paid 10 percent earned less than $36,720, while the highest-paid 10 percent earned more than $102,380. The median salary, or halfway point between the highest and lowest, was $59,430 a year.
Analysis • After doing all of my hard work research I found out that I do want to be an accountant AND THAT I WANT TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THE HARD WORK AND SCHOOL TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL ACCOUNTANT.
