S&I Face-to-Face: Kick-off Session (4/11) • Wednesday, 4/11 from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM • ONC Leadership will provide their thoughts on the S&I Framework, Meaningful Use Stage 2, and the status of each S&I Initiative, in addition to plans for the F2F: • FarzadMostashari, MD, ScM (National Coordinator for Health IT) • David Muntz, MBA (Principal Deputy National Coordinator) • Judy Murphy, RN, FACMI, FHIMSS, FAAN (Deputy National Coordinator for Programs and Policy) • Doug Fridsma, M.D., Ph.D. (Director, Office of Standards and Interoperability)

  8. S&I Face-to-Face: Brown Bag Sessions • Thursday, 4/12 from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM (lunch) • Open to anyone who’s interested • Each session will run for approximately 30 minutes. • Potential topics include: • Demo of the S&I Repository/Browser • Data Segmentation for Privacy 101

S&I Face-to-Face:Draft Agenda: All Hands Session (4/13) • Friday, 4/13 from 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM • Cross Initiative Updates: Recap, current state, and next steps report from each initiative • Other items to be covered include: • ToC Demonstration • Update on Cross-Initiative Coordination efforts • Overview of Provider Directories • Overview of Mod Specs/Direct efforts • Closing thoughts from Dr. Doug Fridsma • NOTE: All activities will conclude at 3 pm

S&I Face-to-Face:Next Steps for Community Members • Finalize travel plans if you haven’t already • F2F Registration is now closed • F2F is entirely in person – no phones or WebEx will be provided. • For esMD, notes will be taken and posted to the wiki at the end of each day. Recap of Last Week • Added one generic assumption – “It is the responsibility of an Agent or Gateway to ensure reliability and consistency of any transformation of information.” • Added one generic precondition – “Providers and Agents will maintain and update current ESI information.” • Updated Context Diagrams regarding the CMS and Commercial Payer user stories are now available • Reviewed Actors and roles • Changed the “Registration Requestor” actor from Use Case 1 and renamed to “eMDR Consumer” for Use Case 2 • Reviewed the Base Flow and Activity Diagram (“swim lanes”) outlining the Interoperability and System steps in the process for sending the eMDR. • Reviewed the Sequence Diagram • Began review of Functional Requirements • Completed review of the Information Interchange Requirements table • Started review of the System Requirements
