OpenROSA History Jun 2008: first big and open meeting; 1 day, part of HISA in Durban. Skype chat begins… Jun 2009: shut down OpenROSA website pending reconstruction. Jul 2009: 3-day meeting in Dar TZ with 85+ people. Nov 2007: 1st meeting in Boston. Very informal. Decided to be a group. Realized we all about to make JavaROSA. Dec 2007- 1 day meeting in Nairobi at another meeting. More excitement. Jan 2008- many emails, phone calls, and vote to pick name/logo. .
