This project examines the effects of social media on mental health using critical research methods in psychology. It draws and evaluates conclusions from qualitative and quantitative information to assess the relationship between social media usage and psychological well-being. By analyzing information, categorizing data, identifying cause-and-effect relationships, and making generalizations, this study aims to shed light on the psychological implications of social media engagement. Correct usage of psychology-related terminology, adherence to grammar rules, and effective transfer of information from written to visual mediums are key components of this research. The project culminates in written, oral, and visual presentations that showcase the findings and recommendations for maintaining mental health in the digital age. The problem-solving and decision-making processes are utilized to identify, analyze, and address the impact of social media on individuals' mental well-being. Conflict resolution strategies such as persuasion, compromise, debate, and negotiation may also be explored in the context of social media interactions. Throughout the project, self-directed inquiry and project evaluation are essential to ensure timelines, accuracy, and goal attainment.
