    3. Rock Climbing Skills Test Purpose: To assess student knowledge of harness use, water knots, and figure 8 knots. Equipment: Harness Webbing Rope

    4. Process Grading The skills test is worth 99 points 11 Criterions worth 9 pts. Each Students are evaluated on their knowledge of three basic rock climbing components, by the use of a yes/no checklist: Use of Harness Setting-Up Webbing Tying a Double Figure Eight Knot

    5. Test (Task #1) – Proper Use of Harness 44 pts possible

    6. Test (Task #2) – Setting-Up Webbing 22 Points Possible

    7. Test (Task #3) – Tying a Double Figure 8 Knot 33 Possible Points

    8. Grading Scale Task #1 + Task #2 + Task #3 = ___/99 pts. 91 – 99 = A 82 – 90 = B 73 – 81 = C 64 – 72 = D 63 or below = F

    9. Class Results (Task #1) – Proper Use of Harness

    10. Class Results (Task #2) – Setting-Up Webbing

    11. Class Results (Task #3) – Tying a Double Figure 8 Knot

    12. Class Grades

    13. Totals Breakdown: A = 12 students B = 1 Student C = 1 Student Averages Class Overall = 96.6 Task #1 = 44 Task #2 = 20.4 Task #3 = 32.2
