What is HotChalk • Is a learning environment for teachers and students to be able to share resources, students and parents that includes a learning management system (LMS), a rich library of teacher-contributed lesson plans, premium digital content, and professional development for teachers in a Web-based environment.

  3. What are the negatives? The site went down while I was working and I had to wait a bit and then re-log in. Logged in as a student and again encountered that the site was unavailable

  4. What are the positives? • Easy to add information • Easy to set up a classroom and enroll students • You can add class assignments • You can create and add quizzes • You can blog and the responses are kept within the group.

  5. This site later said that it did not recognize my user name or password. When I requested then to send me the information, I was asked to enter my e-mail. However again I encountered a message saying that their was not an account associated with that e-mail.

  6. I would not recommend this site unless they resolve the issues with the site shutting down.
