Legalism – View on Gov’t. • Government exists to provide clear punishments and rewards • People should accept government authority automatically • Rulers should never show emotions are trust anyone
Legalism – Education • People only need to know the laws and punishments for society • Do not want people to be educated because they would challenge rulers
