Grading Scale I follow a traditional grading scale. 90%-100% – A 80%-89% - B 70-79% - C Additionally, each student receives two marks for Cooperation and Work Habits in each class. The break down of these marks is in your students agenda on page 5. We have also reviewed it in class.

Evaluation The assignments for these courses are categorized and weighted as follows: Math: 20 %homework, 25% projects, 45% tests and quizzes, 10% class work. Science: 25% classwork, 35% projects, 40% tests *I will send home detailed grade reports every couple weeks. *

CST’s • Harder • Lower the question level, the lower the points • Harder questions, higher points • 600 in 5th grade is not equal to a 600 in 6th grade

Catalina Island Marine Institute • February 8 – 10 ( 2 nights/3 days) • $300 which includes chaperones, curriculum, boat trip, busses, all food. • Sleeping is 4-8 students in bunk beds • 1 chaperone to every 8-10 students • $50 deposit to commit to attend • I’d love for everyone to attend!
