Readers view the reference information and see the sources at the bottom of the page. Formatting guidelines Chicago-Turabian citation style is typically used for research works, dissertation, and thesis papers, which are ready to be published. These academic works are usually released from different publication houses. Hence, they have separate formatting guidelines to be followed throughout. However, one space at the end of every sentence, margins with at least one inch on all four sides, justified alignment of text, Times New Roman 12-point font and Arial 10-point font are few indispensable and standard formatting guidelines. Students, who have academic assignments, have to cite sources if they quote something directly, find, share, and reword others’ ideas in their assignments, or use any statistics, data, and methodology from an already published source. Citing sources helps readers to understand the context of your project. Moreover, it also gives credit to others’ work.
