  2. Bio. • Dan Collins an artist in both the traditional and digital arts, uses sculpting and digital media as a way to bridge the real and virtual world. Also a professor at the Arizona State University teaching Studio Core Foundation and Intermedia Program while also sharing his ideas with students Dan Collins has many awards including the Herberger College Award for Research and Creative Activity in 2000 and 2007 and has had his work exhibited in places   Such as Czechoslovakia and Boston. 3D modeling and visualization, 3D laser scanning, rapid prototyping, tangible interfaces, interactivity, watershed visualization, sustainability, environmental education, GIS, Dan Collins is also a co-director of PRISM(Partnership for Research in Spatial Modeling).

  3. “Forgetting Ourselves” • In this art piece titled “Forgetting Ourselves” the art piece is portrayed in digital form but as a 3-dimensional object. • First unveiled at the Boston Arts Festival and placed on display on May 1999 at the Boston Computer Museum now no longer available.

  4. “Of More Than Two Minds” • This piece titled “Of More Than Two Minds” created in 1994 uses rapid prototyping as shown in other of his works.
