Professional Background Ian Patrick BTG Mesirow Financial Consulting • Ian has 30 years’ experience in the offshore financial services industry principally in the areas of compliance, regulatory, mutual fund administration including hedge funds, accounting, banking and fiduciary services. • He worked at KPMG in the UK in audit and liquidation, transferring to KPMG Bahamas where he worked on liquidating a large Bahamian Bank. • Since moving to Cayman he has held senior management positions in an international bank and trust company and acted as Appleby’s Group Head of Compliance. He is an FCA (Chartered Accountant) and member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants.
