  3. ANSWERS Ted Hughes was born 17th August 1930. His first book was ‘Hawk in the rain’, it was written in 1957. He was 19 when he published his first book. He wrote more than 90 books. He published over 20 children's books. Ted Hughes died 28th October1998.
