Row-1-Seats Owner: Mark Kreutzer Associate: Matt Kreutzer
The idea • My father and I sell NFL tickets through multiple web sites and on the streets before a game. There are anywhere from 50,000-80,000 seats per stadium. However, Row-1-Seats targets seats in the front row, which are obviously the best choice.
The issue • My father’s website does not look as professional as it could. Also, it is hard to get out our business name.
Where • This idea fits to those who want to watch NFL games live with the best seats in the house.
Who? • My customers are football fans who are willing to pay a little extra for great seats. Most of our customers are repeat customers, so we do our best to make sure every single customer is treated properly.
Path-to-Market • My path to market would mainly be through flyers, business cards, word of mouth, and some blogging.
Where’s the money • Over the course of the years, my father has accumulated enough money to support himself in this business.
My competitive edge • Our competition is different websites, such as Stubhub, Ticketmaster, Craigslist, vivid seats, and all other individual brokers. What we have is a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Sometimes, tickets are accidently double sold. What most brokers do is kick one customer to the curb to satisfy the other. We do what we have to to make sure BOTH customers get the seats they deserve.
Who’s on our team • Our team is my father, myself, and all NFL teams we have purchased tickets from.
My story • My father has been selling NFL tickets for at least 8 years. He started with 2 tickets. Then he got 8. Now, I honestly do not know how many he has total. He has more than 100 for just one team, with a total of 10 teams. I joined him 3 years ago and I am in charge of the Browns.
