  1. THANKSGIVING DAY It is one of the most favourite and widely celebrated American and Canadian holidays. Thanksgiving is always celebrated on the last Thursday of November

  2. This day people give thanks to God for all the blessings they’ve got the year by feasting and prayer. It is a historical and religious holiday that began with the Pilgrims.

  3. A pilgrim is a traveller to a holy place. In July 1620 British pilgrims departed for America on board the Mayflower.

  4. Wampanoag Tribe and Squanto, the Indians, taught the pilgrims how to plant corn or maize, to catch fish, to grow pumpkins, beans, peas and other crops, the art of hunting and angling.
