Background • Deliverable from the IRT/ISA and Childrens Act Projects • Produced in partnership between Coventry and Warwickshire’s Strategic Partnerships and CSWP Connexions • A ‘real’ directory, not a gesture – full search functionality • Consultation – approx 500 response to various information gathering exercises • Message – the Voluntary and Community Sector is key!

  3. Issues • Identity and branding – schools competition to get logo. Warwickshire Youth Forum picked winner and decided on name. • Data set and language – differing needs of public and professionals • Getting buy in from data holders – ‘list holders’ such as WES (250+ schools entries) • Full-time Administrator to maintain and promote directory – in post since 1st July

  4. The Directory – Home page All searches can run from this one field Searches can be pre-built e.g. ‘Warwick summer activities’ New services or campaigns can get a little extra promotion FREE

  5. The Directory – Searching Advanced searching functionality tailored to the identified needs of a service user Will be tied into Coventry and Warwickshire’s Common Assessment Frameworks

  9. What now? • Priority is on loading data – 700+ entries in the directory so far • ‘Professional’ go live – that means anyone providing services or information to CYPF • Gather feedback ready for a public launch

  10. What next? • ‘Public’ go live – details to be confirmed • Develop additional functionality • Accessibility features such as RNIB guidance • Input and output tools for data providers • Common Assessment Framework • Links to RYOGENS
