Resource Asset Registration Form Version 5.0 / 5.1 Changes for WGRs
RARF Version 5.0 / 5.1 - WebEx • WebEx to discuss RARF Version 5.0 / 5.1 release • ERCOT will hold a WebEx on Thursday, July 12, 2012, from 14:00 to 16:00 CPT to help familiarize Resource Entities (REs) with the Resource Asset Registration Form (RARF) version 5.1Date: Thursday, July 12, 2012Time: 14:00 – 16:00 CPT (Chicago, GMT-05:00)WebEx URL: https://ercot.webex.com/ercot/j.php?ED=202253792&UID=0&PW=NNzgwYjhjZGU4&RT=MiM3 • Meeting Number: 655 194 994Meeting Password: Ercot123! • Dial-in Number: 1-877-668-4493 • Press # when prompted for pin number.
RARF Version 5 - two Phases • Phase I – March 21, 2012 – RARF Version 5.0 • Transposed the RARF form – resources are in rows • Phase I - Separated RARF into forms for Generation, Wind, Combined Cycle, Transmission, and Load Resources - separate forms to eventually allow partial submission (but not yet). • Added new fields (Business Rules for new fields were not active)
What Changed in RARF Version 5.0/5.1? • Phase II – June 26, 2012 – RARF Version 5.1 • Activated the business rules on new fields (non-binding until October 1, 2012.) • Added the AGR tab to the Gen_Form_Pivoted.xls for NPRR437 - Allow Aggregation of Multiple Generators Into A Single Resource For Market and Engineering Modeling • Separated out “General and Site Information”, “GEN Load Split - ESIID”, “Private Network – Site” tabs“ into General_Site_ESIID Information.xls”.
RARF Version 5.0 / 5.1 Phase Timing • Pre-populated, forms were sent to each Resource Entity on June 29, 2012. No immediate action is required. • RARF Version 5.1 validation rules on new fields became effective, but are non-binding until October 1, 2012. RARF Audit Reports reflect errors and warnings associated with all the new required data fields. • To the extent possible, existing RARF data was pre-populated (except PUN Load Data, One-Lines, Transformer Test Data, Stability Study Model, PSCAD Model, Dynamic Data, Collector System – WIND, Collector System-Wind Seg Data and new data fields that were completed in advance.) • REs are required to submit a completed RARF version 5.1 including all new data fields by October 1, 2012.
