  2. What is Scratch? • Scratch is a programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web. (IT’S FREE!!) • As young people create and share Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.

  3. How Can Teachers Use it? • Scratch can be used in a variety of ways including: an anticipatory set to introduce a new topic, during instruction to test the students knowledge on a topic, as a culminating activity where they can create their own scratch program, or as a study guide to help prepare students for an assessment.

  4. Negatives for Scratch • User friendly in the context of searching already made scratch projects, however very difficult for creating your own scratch project. • Creating your own- Very time consuming, and challenging. (We do not understand!)
