  1. Mahmoud & Ibrahim: Creating a One-Stop Shop and Online E-Commerce Platform for Home Goods Connecting Manufacturers and End-Consumers at Homzmart Entrepreneur Gulf. Mahmoud Ibrahim and Ibrahim Mohamed, Co-Founders, Homzmart. In today’s day and age where technology is integrated into every corner of a business, service, and operation, the digital era is ever-evolving and continuously adapting to industry changes and consumer trends. Organizations and brands find it easy to bridge the connection gap between their services and their target audiences by establishing online e-commerce platforms and other omnichannel solutions. To drive revenue, growth, and opportunities, retail and e-commerce sectors play a significant role thanks to today’s evolving modern digital age. Especially brands that face challenges with a lack of customers due to average brand visibility and target audiences. End-consumers too can face challenges because of low brand visibility and may not find enough stock or supply in shops that do exist around their locations. Therefore, to establish a platform that offers a comprehensive selection of products required by end-consumers and sold by several manufacturers and brands, a one-stop shop is created and digitalized. Like Egypt’s Homzmart, an e-commerce platform that offers a selection of home goods to furniture products from manufacturers and brands to end-consumers. Connecting both parties on the same platform provides significant benefits through this cost- and time-effective method. By revolutionizing the retail and e-commerce market with this approach, a convenient and seamless shopping experience can be made readily available right at your fingertips. For manufacturers, these platforms open up opportunities to reach a broader audience and a chance to increase their market presence and sales potential. By bridging the gap between producers and buyers, these platforms streamline the shopping experience of end-consumers, hence making it easier and more efficient for everyone involved. Therefore, keeping in line with the significant contributions and benefits made by a digitalized e-commerce platform that acts as a one-stop shop for a large selection of home goods and furniture products, we shall explore how Homzmart was co-founded by Mahmoud Ibrahim and Ibrahim Mohamed in Egypt. This article shall shed light on how Homzmart was founded to bridge the digital inequality between the home goods sector and the furniture sector in the MENA Region. Mahmoud Ibrahim and Ibrahim Mohamed - Disruptors of Home Goods and Furniture Sectors: During 2020, when the COVID-19 Pandemic was at its peak, all offline stores and shops were closed. Mahmoud and Ibrahim saw this as an opportunity to redefine the MENA region’s Home Goods and Furniture sectors.

  2. The co-founders recognized a growing gap in digital inequality between home goods and furniture manufacturers and end-consumers. When the pandemic hit the world, this was only made more difficult for both brands and consumers. While many entrepreneurs and trendsetters took the initiative to build and grow a business during this pandemic period, not many successfully achieved this feat. They either managed to start the business but failed to maintain a growing business traction. Others managed to do both very well like Homzmart, which found people shifting to online shopping the most during this time giving them the upper hand in the market. A business idea born during a time of global adversity for the good of the home goods and furniture sectors, and consumers alike; Homzmart was co-founded in 2020 as a one-stop shop and online e-commerce platform. Mahmoud and Ibrahim who established the company’s headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, aimed their business services at Homzmart to“furnish your home.” By combining technology, information, and the internet, Homzmart has since sold products for improving homes, offering convenient shopping experiences through its online e-commerce platform. Mahmoud Ibrahim, the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Homzmart, attended a business school for Business Administration in Operations Management at Ain Shams University. Before co-founding and leading Homzmart, Mahmoud’s career included working as a Customer Experience Analyst at Cisco Systems, and as a Customer Experience Manager and Vice-President of Operations at Jumia Group. Mahmoud went on to become the Co- founder and Chief Operations Officer at Daraz, and later an Investor at Krave Mart. Ibrahim Mohamed, the Co-founder and Chief Operations Officer at Homzmart, has a Bachelor’s in International Law and Legal Studies from Ain Shams University. His career includes working initially as a Business Analyst at Jumia Group, where he climbed the corporate ladder and became the Fulfillment Manager and then the Logistics Manager. Ibrahim then became the Director of Operations at Bosta before co-founding and leading operations at Homzmart in 2020. Mahmoud Ibrahim’s inspiration comes from their founding of Homamart, which drives him every day to face the day with new challenges, growth, and opportunities to become better and to lead better. Proud of being a start-up founder for home improvements, the CEO is constantly thinking of ways to improve Homamart’s business model to include more selections beyond just the home goods and the furniture sectors. In 2021, Homzmart raised a $15 million investment through a Series A Funding Round for business expansions. Working with a focus on “digitizing the living spaces ecosystem and value chain,” Homzmart can now work on expanding its business footprint to more locations across Egypt and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Homzmart - The On-Stop Shop For All Your Home Needs:
