  2. Stage Directions- instructions written by the dramatist to describe the appearance and actions of characters, as well as sets, costumes, and lighting

  3. Dialogue- conversation between characters in a literary work

  4. Narrator- a voice that comments on the action

  5. Pan- to turn the camera to follow or scan a person or object

  6. Cut- to switch the camera from one scene to another

  7. Close Up- when the camera moves close to a subject

  8. Long Shot- when the camera films a subject from a long distance away

  9. Fade In- when the picture slowly appears on the screen

  10. Fade Out- when the picture slowly disappears from the screen
