  1. We are the 8th form students

  2. “KLASIKA” is a private secondary school. It’s located in 2 Krimuldas street. The building of our school is 100 years old.

  3. There are two streams: Russian and Latvian. In the Russian stream there are 12 classes and 76 students, and in the Latvian stream there are 11 classes ( the 9th is missing) and 54 students. There are 130 student overall. We also have a kindergarten.

  4. Our school has got a uniform. For boys it is a dark blue jumper, dark blue trousers, a white shirt, black shoes. For girls it is a checked (red ,white ,green) skirt, a white shirt and black shoes. All students love Fridays, because it’s a day free from the school uniform.

  5. School starts at 8:30AM and ends at 15:05AM. At school we learn a lot of subjects: Maths, Art, Physics, Geography, Music, Chemistry, History, languages and others.

  7. School SUBJECTS And here is a curriculum of 8B class:

  8. We have 20 minutes break during lunch. We have cooked school dinners and we eat smash potato, rice, beef, salads.

  9. After school children go to school clubs. For example chess, karate, art, dance and others. Every year we have competitions in Mathematics, English, Physics, Literature, Chemistry. Every month we have a game “What? Where? When?”

  10. Our school has a big variety of events. We have 1st September concert, Teacher’s day, Halloween, St. Valentine’s day, a New Year concert, St. Martin’s day, 8th March, 9th May and a final concert. Sometimes we have other events.

  11. In Summer children all over the world can visit our summer camp.

  12. We like our school!
