School Elections The school elections program is designed to give students experience in the voting process, and thus encourage them to take a more active role in the democratic process once they are registered voters themselves.
Process of a School Election • Official ballots will be created and printed. • The election will be conducted at a central polling site within the school. • Students, school staff, or volunteers will operate the polling site. • Students will check-in and sign before they vote. • Ballots will be marked by the students using county privacy booths. • Ballots will be tallied. • Results will be generated.
