  1. INTRODUCTION Companies wishing to operate in Malaysia must register with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (Companies Division). Under the regulations of the Companies Commission of Malaysia, there are different procedures for local companies and foreign companies.

  3. 4. To regulate matters pertaining to the incorporation of companies and business registration 5. To promote ethical conducts amongst directors, company secretaries, managers and personnel who are directly involved in the management of a company or business 6. To carry out research on matters relating to corporations, companies and businesses 7. To advise the minister on general matters pertaining to corporations, companies and businesses 8. To carry out relevant activities to ensure the smooth running of the administration and effective implementation of the Commission's functions

  4. Where the documents are in a foreign language, a certified translations into English or the National Language must accompany the documents - section 360. On being satisfied that the requirements of the Act are fulfilled and on payment of the appropriate fee, the Registrar will register the Company as a foreign company under Division 2 or Part XI of the Act and a certificate in form 83 will be issued evidencing the registration.The form are technical in nature and set out in the Companies Regulations 1966.For the registration of a foreign company, the fee payable to the Registrar of Companies or Companies Commission of Malaysia on its authorized share capital is as follows:-

  5. FEE PAYABLE For each search or an inspection of a document or documents filed in relation to a corporation:- For supply of any copy or extract of any document:- For any information concerning a corporation supplied by the Commission in reply to a written application, the fee is RM 10.00
