  4. Gateway The Gateway is the starting point to USPS services. • Easy access to Postal Service business offerings • A single username & password accesses multiple online services

  5. Gateway The Gateway consolidates mailing activity workflow. • Maintain Company profile and permit information • Submit, View and Retrieve postage statement • Monitor postage statements transactions • Schedule mailing appointments • Manage Mailer IDs • Participate in the test environment

  6. Manage Mailing Activity (PostalOne!) Manage Mailing Activity is the most requested service.

Gateway Login A new user signs up and meets the BSA. • Access • Services for a location • Business locations (company name at an address) • Activation • Requires a Business Service Administrator (BSA) -Key contact for a Business Location for the administration of the selected Service • Approves and deactivates all user requests for Services at the business location • Establishes the company locations where permits and Mailer IDs will be linked

  8. Accounts: Access Request Access • Request access to additional services and business locations via the Request access link • Users have the option of having the BSA assign them additional Services and locations

  9. Account: Locations Request Access • Select a location(s) for a service

Login and New Accounts New user has the option to assume the BSA role if they are the first to apply for the service at the business location Some Services require a Business Service Administrator (BSA) • System prompts the first user to become the BSA (should company-designated). • BSA agreement lists the Responsibility and Obligations and Terms & Conditions of Participation

  22. Design & Prepare The Mailer ID Mailer ID • Component of the IMB that is used to identify Mail Owners and/or Mailing Agents. • Issued by the USPS to each Mail Owner and/or Mailing Agent or other service providers that request them

Mail & Transport • Centralized Account Processing System (CAPS) • Electronic postage payment system that provides business mailers a centralized payment method electronically (e.g. ACH Debit, ACH Credit and Fed wires). Takes user to CAPS site Sign-in page. • Customer Label Distribution System (CLDS) • Suite of electronic services designed exclusively for business mailers to order and manage label orders • Online alternative to the existing manual label order process. • Customer/Supplier Agreements (CSAs) • Defines mail preparation and entry for mailers and the postal plants where their mail is entered • Must register (request access) to FAST

Track & Report • ADVANCE • The ADVANCE system is the in-depth method to track delivery and provide accurate information on the status of Standard Mail and Periodicals in-home delivery dates • Audit Mailing Activity (PostalOne!) • The Audit Mailing Activity service allows read-only access to its users for all data associated to the permits or USPS Publication Numbers linked to the account. The user may not submit or change mailing information on this type of account • Delivery Confirmation • Verify the date, time, ZIP Code™ of delivery, and whether the delivery was made, attempted, forwarded, or returned • Mailing Report • Confirm service provides near real-time tracking information about First-Class Mail®, Periodicals, and Standard Mail letters and flats
