  2. Terminology: Horizon: This line is a horizontal line at eye level – it usually separates ground from sky. Vanishing Point: is on the horizon. All lines apart from the horizontal and vertical lines direct towards and meet at the vanishing point. Vertical: going up and down the page. Horizontal: going side to side on the page.

  6. Inside Lines through each corner . VP anywhere on horizon

  7. Choose from either of these tasks: Task one: Draw a room with no furniture but a black and white tiled floor. The front line of tiles should be exactly twice as wide as the edge touching the wall. Task two: Write out your name in one point perspective either above or below the horizon.
